到底高德斯坦見到伊凡卡後，其反應是否過當？有另外一位目擊者表示，當時就坐在伊凡卡前排座位的謝夫（Marc Scheff）說，該男子沒有「大呼小叫」，但「顯然很激動」。他的同性伴侶很冷靜，他們的兒子很可愛且穿著很有型。
